Continuous Education Plan - 2020
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (ESV)
Thank you for your extraordinary patience and encouraging words during these challenging days. We are so blessed to serve such wonderful families.
During these past two weeks, education has been made available both from our amazing teachers and the supplied packets or online assignments. Immanuel continues to monitor the status of the mandatory suspension of in-person instruction that currently goes through April 7, 2020. We sincerely hope to re-open our doors on April 8, but if the end date changes due to ongoing measures, we will let you know.
As we have transitioned to “continuous learning” for our students we continue to be available to you. Those teachers that have provided packets have placed them in the office and the opportunity to pick it up is during regular school hours (8:30 am - 3:30 pm). Immanuel is committed to the continuation of high-level teaching and learning through these means, and we will continue to prioritize our mission and the special relationships that exist in our Lancer Nation.
We are super appreciative of you for honoring your latest tuition agreement. This has allowed us to fully pay our great staff and continue their benefits. We recognize that these fees may currently be a hardship, but as we keep doing all we can to keep education moving forward, it is important we support our amazing staff.
Even with this installment, there will still be a significant financial “hit” to our programs, especially our childcare area. If you are willing and would like to donate to help offset the cost of this crisis, we will provide a statement of donation for your tax-deductible gift. Please email us; school@ourgodwithus.com.
Some of the programs that we continue to review; spring break, academic fair, class trip, graduation, summer program, and more. Immanuel will let you know of any changes to these programs once decisions are reached.
These are unsettling times, but we know God is in control. Immanuel continues to pray for all families to be safe and healthy and to bring us back together again soon. “
Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
